Bed BioReactor se basa en el principio de pel\u00edcula biol\u00f3gica activa que crece en peque\u00f1os elementos pl\u00e1sticos llamados \u201cCarriers\u201d o \u201cMedia\u201d que se mantienen suspendidos en el reactor. La tecnolog\u00eda utiliza las ventajas de los lodos activados y otros sistemas de biopel\u00edcula (por ejemplo: Biofiltro).
