denominados DAF son ampliamente utilizados en la industria por su practicidad y alta eficiencia para la remoci\u00f3n de aceites, hidrocarburos, solidos suspendidos totales y grasas que se encuentran emulsionados o no en el efluente.<\/p><p>Los equipos de flotaci\u00f3n pueden ser fabricados en pl\u00e1stico reforzados con fibra de vidrio (PRFV), acero al carbono o acero inoxidable (m\u00e1s frecuente). Asimismo, la forma puede ser rectangular o circular seg\u00fan el caudal o espacio disponible. La extracci\u00f3n de material flotante es mediante rascador superficial y la remoci\u00f3n de solidos sedimentados es por tolvas o tornillo.<\/p><p>Se pueden solicitar los equipos con dosificaci\u00f3n previa de qu\u00edmicos para aumentar hasta 80 % la remoci\u00f3n del DBO y hasta 95% la remoci\u00f3n de grasas y aceites. El equipo se entrega con su tablero de potencia y control, instrumentaci\u00f3n y el servicio de puesta en marcha.<br \/>En los equipos DAF, la separaci\u00f3n se consigue introduciendo finas burbujas de gas (aire) en la fase liquida.
