The rotating screen is a device for the screening of liquids in general in order to perform a solid-liquid separation, its use is common in countless industrial and municipal applications.
Its design features give it high performance, being a self-cleaning operating equipment capable of operating for long periods of time without the need for attention. They are often used as pretreatment of urban wastewater or as pretreatment of wastewater in wine, beer, chemical, agricultural, paper, textile or other industries.
The liquid to be filtered enters the screen through the inlet flange and is distributed evenly throughout the filter cylinder that rotates at low speed.
The solid particles are retained on the surface of the filter cylinder and are led to a scraper that is responsible for separating and deposit them on a sloping tray for gravity drop.
The liquid that passes through the slits of the filter cylinder is led to the sieved water outlet flange.
Simple and resistant equipment made of stainless steel.
Large filtration capacity in a small space
Integrated internal cleaning
Fully enclosed and secure equipment
Low electrical consumption
Filtering cylinder made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, it is constructed by helical winding of a profile of triangular section welded on a series of perimetral longitudinal support profiles.
Body executed entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel, with a strong mechanical-welded construction, provided with liquid inlet and outlet and all sealing elements.
Brass cleaning scraper, fixed on an articulated stainless steel tray, which is adjusted to the cylinder by means of springs mounted on its ends.
Internal cleaning system by means of pressurized water formed by micro perforated stainless steel pipe with laser.
Highly robust and maintenance-free reducer motor that ensures the uninterrupted operation of the equipment.
Excess overflow: in case of excess flow or quantity of solids higher than expected, the excess water is conducted to the outside by means of an internal overflow.
Execution of the housing in AISI 316 stainless steel: All the casings of our rotating sieves can be manufactured, on request and with a delivery time higher than normal, in AISI 316 stainless steel.
